A Chemical Change From One State Of Matter To Another Is Called A "Phase Transistion", Usually Solid>liquid>gas. Name A Common Substance That Goes From Solid>gas Without Becoming A Liquid In Between, And Can You Name This Phenomenon?

It may be in either a public (i.e., blurtit, et.al.) or a private forum at my sole discretion. Since I have no way of knowing what questions may be on your mind and having little to none of the mental or spiritual capabilities of those that claim the ability to read the minds of others, I find that what works the best for me is to ask and I shall answer. In general and in the simplest form, my own self-description would be something like this: I am just an ordinary guy that knows a tiny little bit about a lot of things, but not really very much about anything(?) And, so goes my life.....
