Starch and glycogen are the polymers of glucose.Starch is used for the storage of glucose in plants.it is made of 1-4 linkage for linear chain and 1-6 linkage for branched.glycogen is also a storage form of glucose and it also has 1-4 and 1-6 linkage, but glycogen is mainly used by animals to store glucose and it is highly branched comparing to starch.

From the Photosynthesis Method, we are getting a Starch (C6H12O6). Glycogen is a multibranched polysaccharide of glucose that serves as a form of energy storage in animals and fungi. Glycogen has been occurred from Fungi and Starch has came from Plants.
