Social work is a branch of arts and humanities group. It is about working for the amelioration of a society. It may have a couple of rules and principles but three of them are the most common. They are:
Principle of acceptance is about the things that are cause of sufferings of problems for a person. If he is accepting those issues and is facing them then he must be following principle of acceptance at all. Society is also accepting that person the way he is. So, in one way or the other, society is also following the principle of acceptance. It is to accept him in all regards.
Principle of worth and dignity is about the respect and honor that we give to ourselves and one another. It is to give reverence to whoever the other person may be.
Principle of confidentiality is about having confidence in some f the things in the society. For instance, one may have confidence in professional assistance or whatever he is seeking for. Hope it is clear now.
