Objects don't fall towards the ground - the fall towards the centre of the earth.
The Earth's core contains the planets gravity.
Bigger things have bigger gravity; that's why planets orbit the Sun.
So this object is obviously smaller than the Earth, and therefore it will be pulled towards the bigger thing with the bigger gravity - Earth.
