What Holds The Nucleus Together?

According the my studies and calculations what holds the nucleus together is the strong bonds and binding from deep within the atom. The way the protons and electrons act inside the cell form the nucleus into a particle in which substance is then moved around forming and re shaping the structure of the cell entirely.
