Yes.The shape of an object affects how quickly it can change temperature. An ice cube warms because its surface is in contact with air that is at a greater temperature than the ice cube. The heat of the air enters the ice cube through the surface. The greater the ratio of surface area to volume the ice cube is shaped in the faster it will melt, because with more surface more heat can enter. This means a very wide flat piece of ice will melt faster than a cube.
It makes it more symmetrical
Being they are different sizes an has different masses
The purpose of the science project is for you to find out on your own by conducting experiments. You have to experience that is how you learn and understand except just learn an answer. You build more connections in you brain when you experienced something. EXPERIment - Experience. You see how closely those words are related? Use the scientific method... Get several ice cubes and place them in different temperatures and observe their shape as they melt. Make sure to have a lot of variables.. Like on some ice cubes halt the melting process at different times, on some let them melt all the way.... Or let numerous ice cubes melt for a set amount of time each of them placed in a different temperatures... What did you find out in your science experiment?
I don`t get it I am really looking for something else
The melting time is your ass
