When you mix the two at certain proportions you will end up with ammonium triiodide when dry it is very sensitive and even touching it with a feather will set it off although it may be fun I would recommend being safe about it and if you want to store it keep it in an air tight container and make sure it is always wet as it is stable when wet but as soon as it dries out it is very unstable
