Don't understand question ... But going to make a stab anyway forgive me if I'm off base ...a gas can accumulate in a barely used water heater.... Hydrogen and it is explosive... Running water a while in a vented area will solve    gas smell    .. Cloudy water most of the time ,is caused by calcium deposits in system usually in Bottom of heating tank.... Open drain valve and flush to outdoors with garden hose water pressure to the tank inlet  should be enough to do the job, if deposits r more than an inch or two in Bottom of tank ,you should replace the tank, persistent calcium problems... Check in to a water softener... Good luck
