A volcano erupts because pressure builds up inside the earth. Then, it pushes the lava into and out of the volcano
A volcano erupts because when rock inside the Earth becomes hot enough it melts.
This molten rock, or magma, is less dense than the surrounding
Solid rock. Just as an object that is less dense than
water will float on water, the relatively low density of
the magma causes it to rise to the surface of the Earth.
Thats why a volcano erupts!!!...the REAL answer!!!! Xx :)

Lava is not made.
It is molten rock above the surface oof the earth known as magna when underneath the surface.

Volcano is basically a rupture in the earth's surface or crust and it allows molten and hot rock, ash and gases to escapew from below the surface of earth. Volcanoes are formed where the earth's crust is stretched and is thinning. Or when the tectonic plates are pulled apart. An active volcano erupts when there is excessive buildup of gases and lava.
