The sugar particles are fixed and don't move as much as the water particles which arent fixed so if you put the sugar particles in the water particles the sugar is able to move through the water particles as the water has enough space between them.

The sugar particles begin to break up into smaller pieces. This then dissolves into the water filling all the tiny spaces. If you put two much sugar and it won't dissapear, then that means it's staturated.

The particles in the Sugar get broken up by the water and they soon dissolve in to littler and littler particles until they are so small you can not see them
