MPH and KPH are the units of speed. Mph stands for miles per hour and it is equal to 0.44704 m/s.

Kph stands for kilometer per hour and it is equal to 0.277777778 m/s.

very scientific, if you're looking for the practical applications to the difference just think that 20 mph is 30 kmph, easier to do the math in your head that way if you're just thinking about it

The difference is the way distance is mesured. Mph is Miles per hour. Kph is kilometers per hour.
