I think it good tourist spot,people gain a lot of money from tourism. I think you should visit Japan so you'll understand.

Seriously, though.  One thing I do know is that at Fuji's base  is a forest called 'The Sea of Trees', where so many people have gone - and continue to go - to commit suicide that official, public-service fliers are sprinkled throughout and annual sweeps have been performed since 1970
