The temperature around the world has many influences. It starts with the angle the sun hits the earth. If it shines directly, in zenith, onto the earth, it warms it up faster. The winds, being cold or warm, influence the climate. So does rain. Even mountains change the temperature. This is a very basic description, as it is a very complex subject.
