How Can I Transfer Solid Chemicals Into Small-mouthed Container?

You can take a small (3"x3" or whatever) piece of stiff paper and scoop up the material and then make a dip in the paper so the material can slide into the top opening of the container.

If the solid's are small enough then I would generally use the method of faydra below, if not then you will need to use a solvent system to dissolve the solid's and then pour the solution into the container.
 
If the solid's are metals then you would use an acid to dissolve the solid's but only under the direct supervision of an instructor.
