The key word in your question is "science".

Science requires a hypothesis which can either be demonstrated or not (eg, if an apple falls from a tree it will hit Isaac Newton),
a method to test the hypothesis (Lab notes: I placed one Isaac Newton beneath an apple tree), known as the experiment
And a way to repeat the experiment to verify the results (using multiple Isaac Newtons, under various apple trees in the following locations).

If you can't reproduce the experiment it ain't Science.  It can be well-documented observation, you can use equations to describe it.

The thing about science, all things considered, is that it has reproduceable predictive value. Social Psychiatry has only descriptive value, and by the axioms of the art, can never be a science.
