The longest muscle in the human body is Sartorius muscle. It makes an attachement for pes anserinus with semiTendinosus. It is also known as a seatbelt muscle and it is located in the inner side of the leg. It runs down with the length of the thigh. This muscle is important for the flexion of knee and leg.
