Plants can provide humans and animals with oxygen in order to breathe and live. They take out carbon dioxide from the air and water from the soil and use photosynthesis to produce oxygen that is released and energy or food for it’s self. Humans need plants for shelter, medicines, industry, inspiration, clean air and water, food, and energy.

Actually, plants and trees absorb carbon dioxide (which we breathe out) and release oxygen (which we breathe in) so without them we'd all die pretty quickly !
