There are no advantages to water pollution. The disadvantages are fairly obvious. Without sufficient safe drinking water all animal life would cease. Even if the water is only polluted partially and not enough to kill, it can still make humans and animals very ill. Then...it can be so polluted that the fish and aquatic life is affected and has been known to cause a drop in reproduction in some species. .
