Of an irregular plane object, you can get the center of gravity aka center of mass by going through the following steps:
1. Attach the plane lamina with a strain string and a straight pole of equal height.
2. From the top draw a line at exactly 90 degree downwards.
3. Do the same thing with a couple of other points.
4. The point at which all three lines meet is known as the center of gravity.
