Liam and Noel belong to Oasis, which was originally formed in Manchester, England. Liam and Noel are the leaders of the group, and also the only remaining original band members.

Oasis's first album was 'Definately Maybe', followed by (What's the Story) Morning Glory, which sold 19 million copies. Oasis became one of the most successful and prominent British bands of the mid-90s. They were also one of the leaders of the Britpop movement.

Both Liam and Noel have cultivated a reputation as bad boys, landing themselves regularly in tabloid newspapers.

Their 1997 album, Be Here Now, reached number 1 in the UK charts, and became the fastest-selling album in chart history, with nearly half a million copies sold on the first day of its release.

Oasis have sold more than 50 million records worldwide, including singles.

The current line-up for Oasis is:

Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, songwriting)
Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, back-up vocals, lead songwriting, lead vocals)
Colin "Gem" Archer (rhythm guitar, keyboards, lead guitar, back-up vocals, songwriting)
Andy Bell (bass guitar, songwriting, lead guitar, keyboards)
Zak Starkey (TBA-official member. Drums and percussion)

Past members are:

Alan White (drums and percussion)
Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs (rhythm guitar)
Paul "Guigsy" Mcguigan (bass guitar)
Tony McCarroll (drums and percussion)
