Well sugar and salt are both pretty bad.. We all know that salt is the worst idea ever yet, but sugar water?
We all think that since sugar has fructose/glucose that the plants need, we should give it to them. But this is wrong-why?
First of all there are heaps and heaps of bacterias in soil and since bacteria feeds of sweets things, it make them grow even bigger and more harmful. The most commonly know bacteria while growing plants with sugar is yeast- and thats bad
Second is when people make sugar, they put in other chemicals such as bleach which is also harmful for plants.
I think freshwater cause saltwater burns the roots down, and the plant dies!
Salt will kill the plant and sugar will allow it to grow with the help in ATP
A plant will grow better wit fresh water.
Sugar water is what I'm thinking since I tried the experiment
Will a plant grow faster with salt water or fresh water?
Plants grow better with sugar water.
I think it will grow way better in fresh water .
I think that sugar water makes a plant grow best. It is added when the plant hasn't been watered in a while.
Fresh water is told to be more ORGANIC for plant growth so I would go for that
Sugar water because when a plant does photothensis part of the food (sugar/glucose) that the plant produses is part of the sugar we eat.But if you use wite sugar it wont grow because in the factory they put in chimichals but the brown sugar is the natural healthy one.Salt is acidic so it will die!!So to conclude use brown sugar NOT salt !! :D
I say sugar water is the best choice because it has nutreints
I think it will grow better in sugar cause one of the main foods of plants are sugar it will enrich the plant
I think that Sugar water would be the best choice because its its good for you
I am going to try my experiment if plants can grow on sugar water!!!!!!
Salt because in my experiment the sugar grew mold instead of growing
Sugar water doesnt grow plants
