The basketball is orange a color of a star if you let the air out of the basketball and then slit it open you could insert a styroform ball into it to represent the core. Bring an inflated basketball exactly the same as the first.
You start with the inflated version and then go to the version with the styrofoam ball in it. The styroform ball can be spray painted as well if necessary.
