A physical Change is a change of substance that does not actually change the composition of the substance e.g. Freezing water it still is H20 after freezing it
A Chemical Change is any change of substance that changes the composition of the substance e.g. When wood is burned many things come out of it such as ash, smoke
Also a Chemical Change is a change where the change can't be reversed
e.g.You can boil the ice to make it back into water but you can unburn the wood

The difference between the physical change and the chemical change is that in a physical change there is a change in the appearance of the substance while in the chemical change a transformation occurs in the composition of the substance. The second difference is that a physical change can be a temporary change while a chemical change is usually a permanent change. Example of physical change is freezing of ice while the example of chemical change is burning of woods and formation of ash.
