There are two things to consider. 1. The law of conservation of energy "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can be converted from one form to another". 2. Thermodynamics, which suggests that all "systems" tend to "lose coherence" and that energy may become "entropy". Curiously, this does not really disprove (1)...
