A computer/device with a single processor on the die for the CPU and has a single CPU.

I am not sure but I THINK all processors today are actually manufactured to be multiprocessors (multiple processors on a single die).  The single processors are either chips that all but one of the processors failed testing (essentially what the garment industry would call a factory second) or chips that have had all but one of the processors on the chips disabled or some combination of the two.

A single-core processor is a microprocessor with a single core on a chip, running a single thread at any one time. The term became common after the emergence of multi-core processors (which have several independent processors on a single chip) to distinguish non-multi-core designs.
