How come the sky was totally cloudy and we had thunder and lightning and wind but not a drop of rain? Cal. needs it so bad, I can't understand why it didn't dump rain ! Any ideas?
I heard California is working on an agreement to import billions of gallons of drinking water from Alaska. I also heard it's going to be a very wet winter due to El Nino.
I saw a lot of this when I was being raised in Albuquerque, called heat lightning when no rain and Ive seen it rain when no clouds anywhere and sunny blue skys too called Indian rain and doesn't last long. The Lightning occurs more now since its so dry and arid in California right now as a lot of static buildup so something has to happen. This is real rare where humidity is high but does happen but usually stays within the clouds and never jits the ground
