Some say they are and some say they aren't. We've been eating GMO foods for years and probably never even knew it or cared. I agree with Tyto that soon we will have no choice because there won't be enough natural food to feed everyone. This article from WebMd is pretty interesting and to the point.

Interesting article, Rooster, I really don't think people realize just how long we've had GMOs, in effect our seedless oranges are genetically altered, however it was altered long before we had genetic research. GMO is just a way of hybridization in a faster way than to cross breed plants over many growing seasons.
