Plant seeds can be carried by the wind.

Not all plants do, some are spread by animal droppings, others are dispersed by animals taking the seed for a winter snack and forget where they stashed them. But the ones that use wind have their seeds attached to some sort of wing like structure that catches the wind and it floats away. Check out a dandielion seeds.
