Africa is world's second largest continent with 61 territories. As of Year 2005 estimate, Africa has world's second largest population of about 922,011,000 accounting for 14.2 percent of World's Population. The whole continent has area of 30,221,532 km² or 11,668,598.7 sq mi.
Africa is touched by two oceans named Indian Ocean from the southeast and Atlantic Ocean from the west. Apart from that, Africa has Mediterranean Sea to its North, Red Sea and Suez Canal to its northeast.
