Cell wall is a rigid but flexible layer of a plant cell. Cell wall is made up of complex carbonates and complex sugars. Cell wall lies outside the cell membrane and it is the outer covering of plant cell. It gives protection and skeleton support to plant cells. It is also present in bacteria, algae and fungi. It provides protection to cell membrane and controls cell growth and provides a definite shape to the cell. It contains special enzymes and chemical substances which help in secretion and transportation in cell.

The cell wall protects cells that without it would be easily harmed, it is only found in plant cells.  It gives the cell structure, and moniters what goes in and out of  is fouthe cell, so it doesn't explode.  It is found outside the cell membrane.

The cell wall is like a house. It protects the cells, without getting hurt. A house protects us from the bad weather... Stuff like that xD

Cell walls allow the plant cell to store as much water as possible without lysing (popping, breaking apart) the cell. Like the cell membrane, the cell wall also protects the cell from harmful stuff.

Give protection to the cell while letting other un harmful substances and structers get it at the same time

A cell wall is located outside the cell membrane and provides these cells with structural support and protection, and also acts as a filtering mechanism. A major function of the cell wall is to act as a pressure vessel, preventing over-expansion when water enters the cell.
