We evolved from animals so that means we can never fully be not an animal. Plus, we have the organs that all animals have. And although we think we have a higher intelligence, we may not but still we are equals.
The definition of an animal is something that is eukaryotic (meaning cells contain nuclei/organelles), multicellular, consumes other organisms for food, and is mobile. We fit that definition.
Because we have similar organs. But it is a true fact that we are not animals. Animals behave differently to us, but each behavior act means something in our world as it does in theirs. Like we ask for food, they to tricks or look cute but we both want the same thing. Scientist believe that we are related to monkeys or even are a form of monkey. All the evidence says yep monkeys are our relatives, I don't think so. Just because a cat and a tiger may look similar they are most definately not they behave differently. So I am basically saying DO WE REALLY LOOK LIKE MONKEYS?my answer is "no." What's yours?
I submit that we are not animals at all. The Bible records that God created fish and birds, animals and man each separately. He created human beings in His own image to reign over the earth. So, he created animals and THEN man to be their steward. Therefore, human beings can be neither animals nor mammals.
I believe you're refering to society claiming humans coming from monkeys originally. The idea of removing any truth or belief there is spirituality in humans will lead this logic to remove " grace " from the situation. There is no grace in monkeys because for an example they eat the nuts that are stuck in elephant crap that the elephant leaves behind and a " spiritual " reality would have sense to " leave this alone " for a higher purpose spiritually in greatness. So therefore there will always be a way to " this " - grace a human being if you remove any kind of logic of a spiritual nature from it.
Because we are animals and close cousins of the Chimpanzee, are DNA tells us so, and so does the fossil evidence.
