Indus river is the chief river of Pakistan. It is the biggest river. It helps other rivers. Its water is used to fill other rivers. This river is the main source of irrigation, transportation and water. A variety of aquatic life is found in it. Fish is the source of income of most of the people who live near it. Its water can also be used to generate electric power. Most of its water comes from melting of glaciers and Karakoram mountains.
