However, when becoming a psychologist, if you are dealing with the minds of unstable patients, you will need to know how to read body language. Although the patient may be telling you whats wrong, they may not be able to tell you directly how its effecting them. Its much easier to understand their situation if you know the reactions of the body to certain emotions. For example, if a patient is lying, they will shift their eyes to the right.
