Pathogens are biological agents which can cause illness when enter in the body. For examples, bacteria, virus, fungus, protozoan etc. Some bacteria which are beneficial for us are present in our body without any harm. Use of certain medicines can cause over growth of these bacteria which turn them in to pathogens. Infection caused by these bacteria is called opportunistic infection.

A pathogen is a substance or an agent which is responsible of creating diseases in a body. The main cause of disease is a pathogen. They are basically viruses causing harm to the body. Pathogens include bacteria, fungi, yeasts and other types of viruses. These substances get in touch with our organs and the virus spreads and the problem increases.
