People are facing water pollution and the government is not at all serious. People in the rural are being affected by water pollution and are now nearer to death. Also all the people are starving to have some clean water to drink. And it is a wonder that no one is taking a serious action to save water from getting polluted.

Today, the country of India is faced with water pollution. This is due to the rapid growth of industry that India has recently experienced. The facilities to treat water waste in most cities in India are not adequate to handle the amount of water pollution that is produced by the rapid industrial growth. Only about 10% of the water in India is treated for pollution and as a result, the contaminated water can enter into a person's house. The contaminated water can contain disease-causing microbes and cause one to become deathly ill. The water is not safe to drink in India.

Also, the contaminated water runs off into lakes and rivers and makes fish and other wildlife infected with disease-causing microbes. This kills off the wildlife and stops reproduction. In turn, this could cause harm or damage to the Indian food supply.

Water pollution in India makes the water unsuitable for drinking, cooking, recreational activities, and Industry. Water Pollution is a major problem in India.
