The pistil is the male reproductive part of the flower. It creates the pollen that fertilizes the stamen and creates new flowers.

I also know that the Pistil is the female reproductive organ of the flower. Were you thinking of the Stigma instead???

WHAT!?! I looked it up on ask.com and it says that the PISTIL is the female part of a flower and the STAMEN is the male part...or am I just hi......I don't know..maybe you guys should pay attention in school
