The PH of this is 7 which is neutral. The pH is minus the log (at base 10) of the concentration of the hydrogen ion. This is of a solution in water. PH is the measure of the acidity or level of alkali of an aqueous solution. Pure water is said to be neutral, with a pH close to 7.0 at 25 °C (77 °F). Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline. PH measurements are important in medicine, biology, chemistry, agriculture, forestry, food science, environmental science, oceanography, civil engineering and many other applications. Hydrogen is the lightest and most abundant chemical element, constituting roughly 75% of the Universe's chemical elemental mass. Hydrogen is an extremely interesting element and is often the topic in high school experiments. Metals such as magnesium  are added to an aqueous acid which then reacts and forms salt and releases hydrogen gas from acid. The hydrogen bubbles up from the liquid and students will then collect it in small quantities for further experiments. About 10 percent of the weight of living organisms is hydrogen and this is mainly in the form of water, proteins and fats. Other interesting facts about hydrogen are that it is the most abundant element in the whole universe and has the lowest density of any other liquid when it is in liquid form and when it is solid - it has the lowest density of any crystalline solid. It is thought to have been produced by the Big Bang along with helium and lithium, and produces most of the energy on the planet as the sun's nuclear fires convert hydrogen to helium, which releases a large amount of energy in the process.

The pH value of a solution can be calculated by using formula;

pH = - log[H+]

[H+] = 1 x 10-7

pH = - Log [1 x 10-7]

pH = - ( -7)

Multiplying minus sign

pH = 7

So, the pH value of the given solution is 7. If the pH value of a solution is seven then, it means that the solution is neutral.
