A cubic meter is a unit of volume, while a kilogram is a unit of weight. In order to convert them, you will need a calculator and first write down the volume and density of the object you are looking to convert. For example, if you want to convert five cubic meters of water to kilograms, write the volume of five cubic meters and 1,000 kilograms. Then convert unit of weight to kilograms per cubic meter. When converting, make sure that the volume unit cancels out the density unit, such as if the volume is in cubic meters, this cancels out the "meters” unit in the weight so this leaves you only with a kilogram unit. Then, multiply the cubic meter by the kilogram, so five x 1,000, giving you an end result of 5,000, so your total answer is five cubic meters is equivalent to 3,000 kilograms.

However, if you don’t know the density of the material being measured, the density can be multiplied by the substance’s volume in order to find the weight. Similarly, the material’s weight can be divided by the density to find the volume. Because of the various scientific elements of this type of conversion, it should be understood that density is dependent on temperature as well as the pressure of the material you are measuring.

If you are measuring liquid, you can assume that it will behave similarly to water. However, if you are measuring gasses under normal conditions such as room temperature and atmospheric pressure, it will help you prevent messy errors and use the value densities found in tables.

If you want to convert cubic meter to kilograms as well as other units of measurement quickly and without error, you can make use of the various converters found online which can produce results for you in just a few seconds.

there is no conversion. Cubic meters is a volume measure. Kilograms is a weight measure. Conversely, if you had 1.3 cm of some material, you could always weigh it.To keep tracking about the ubit conversions, you can use this Unit Converter ,to get more instant results.

onvert one cubic meter of what material?

Find the density of the material: Say water, which is 1gram/cm^3. Multiply density by volume in a cubic meter: 1 x 1,000,000 = 1,000,000 grams, = 1,000 kg.

To calculate the mass of 1 cubic meter of iron for example, use density of 7.87, multiply and you get 7,870 kg. Here are my favorite unit converter, it shows the appropriate conversions.
