Some consequences of conduction are as follows
-Trapping air to use as insulation: birds have feathers and mammals like cats or polar bears have fur to trap air. Air is a good insulator of heat. This will minimize heat loss from their bodies to the cold surroundings during winter or on rainy days.
Human beings need clothes to trap air since we have very little hair on our bodies to keep us warm.

-Different sensations from good and bad conductors of heat: if one touches a metal knob in winters with one hand and the wooden portion of the same door with the other hand. He'll feel that the metal knob is much colder than the wooden portion of the door even though they are at the same temperature. The fact is that metal is a much better conductor of heat than wood. This means a metal conducts away heat from the persons hand more quickly than the wood.

Some consequences of radiation
-color and texture of clothing: on sunny days, dull, black clothes will be much more uncomfortable to wear than shinny, white clothes due to the large amount of radiant heat absorbed.

-skin cancer: with the damage done to the ozone layer, human are exposed to harmful radiations from the sun that can cause skin cancer.
