This can happen at any time for any reason. Someone throwing a cigarette out of a vehicle, or just throwing one down, then there could be some glass in the bush, the sun can hit that just right, and then the bush will catch from the magnification of the heat from the sun. Lightning can strike at anytime and start one too. There are many ways. Hope this helps at least a little.
