Temperature is extremely important for the growth of Fungi. In initial stages, the fungi requires high temperature but less light. It is observed that for ever 10 C increase in temperature, the growth rate of fungi doubles (during the initial stages). But after a certain stage, temperature must be kept moderate, as high temperature would kill the Fungi. For details, see the following site:
