How To Protect The Forest?

One way to protect a forest is to purchase the land in order to protect the existing trees, or to plant new trees. This is known as afforestation. This would not stop poaching and illegal tree felling, however, and the best way to protect a forest is to purchase it and live on it. By doing this you will be able to monitor the land, although arson and natural fire can destroy a forest very quickly. Other types of forest protection tried in the past include trading in certified wood. This prevents aggressive farming or logging, and prevents expanding city development caused by "urban sprawl". Purchasing a small part of a tropical rainforest would be a waste of time as they can still die if they decrease in size too much. Creating awareness among people, but firstly among Governments, is vital for the long-term protection of the world's forests, and organizations such as Forests and the European Union Resource Network and the Forest Stewardship Council are working towards this aim. The Forest Stewardship Council was established in 1993 and is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization that is promoting responsible management of the forests of the world. It achieves this by setting standards, certifying forests and labeling forest products. By labeling the products, it allows customers to choose products that are sourced from socially and environmentally responsible forestry. The Forest Stewardship Council is supported worldwide by other organizations including Greenpeace, World Wide Fund for Nature and FERN. FERN is a Dutch non-governmental organisation that keeps track of the European Unions involvement in forests. They work towards creating a balanced society that respects human rights and integrates environmental and social values. FERN was founded in 1995 and has three offices in Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

There are several ways to protect the forests, such as:
- Creating awareness in the society
- The govt. Incentives for saving trees
- Punishing the people or organizations which are cutting trees etc

Even in the USA, these measures sometimes don't suffice because arson can burn a forest to the ground, leaving burnt areas free for different use.

Try to use more recycled paper. Don't cut down as many trees!

1. The govt will install the trees or plants in all the vacant land.
2. Give a plant to install its to their own land for private people and offer a pay for monthly basis.

Buy buying the land the forest is on or get it declared a national forest. Other then that, you have no say.
