You apparently do not understand how to read your Periodic Table of the Elements.
The valence electrons for the elements Li, Be, and Fe are as follows:
Li has electron configuration 1s22s1 and therefore has 1 valence electron.
Be has electron configuration 1s22s2 and therefore has 2 valence electrons.
Fe is a transition metal most common oxidation is either 3 or 2.
