The sperm cell has a tail that allows it to swim to its destination (the egg) and also the head of the cell is pointed like an arrow that allows it to pierce through the egg more easily. After the sperm cell has entered the egg the tail drops off as it is no longer needed.
It has a streamlined shape to help it swim and a tail (flagellum) to help it swim. Also, its head is pointy so it can burrow easily inside the egg.
A sperm has many mitochondria which provide energy for its movement towards the egg
it goes into the egg.
Thanks. You’ve helped make it clearer for me!
