Something to consider: Purifying alcohol is expensive. Each time you distill it you can make it more pure but this also costs more. The maximum you can reach this way is about 95% purity (a property called a minimum boiling azeotrope I think). I guess what I'm saying is, if 75% works, why spend so much more to make it 95 or 100%?
