Yes and no
yes for rubbing alcohol
no for alcohol that you can drink
because their are a lot of Sugar

I did a project on this with a philodendron green and vodka. The plant with vodka grew a little better than the plant with only water. There wasn't that big of a difference... Hope this helped.. =]

Definitely yes, if you're going to pour too much, and I agree that alcohol works the same for plants as it does for humans. But you're the one responsible for the plant, so I wouldn't recommend doing that. After reading Abbeycare's guidance on longer term alcohol treatment options, I understood that alcohol addiction is pretty serious, and I wouldn't wish anyone to go through it, even plants, whatsoever.

No alcohol makes a plant grow faster beacouse it has oxygen and it is a liquid

Yes. Plants can become drunk like humans and every other living thing. Overdosing of alcohol will kill any living thing. This is why plants do not go binge drinking or go to pubs or bars.
