The regions in the equatorial region are basically located 5 degree north and 5 degree south of the equator. It is between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The areas located in the region have a hot climate because of the direct sun rays and receive a lot of rainfall hence making the vegetation very thick and dense. The main areas located in the region are the Amazon region, Guinea Coast, Philippines, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Congo Basin and some others.
