A vacuole is a membrane bound sac which is found in plant and animal cells. It is used for storing biochemicals, and also sometimes plays a role in intracellular digestion. In plant cells, vacuoles are responsible for maintaining the shape and structure of the cells. Vacuoles also help in plant growth. You can find pictures of vacuoles on the following link.
