Mathematics and Geography can be linked each other in terms of locating the axis of certain geographical places. Geography makes use of various mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, theories related to vectors, x-axis, y-axis, coordinates etc to facilitate in obtaining useful information and for the further analysis of data. The knowledge of mathematics allow the geographers to study the surface of earth, its mass, analysis of population, analysis of earth, characteristics and identification of different patterns in the same geographical regions etc. Sometimes mathematics and geography are taught as single subject to the students of geography to learn the mathematical tools which facilitate learning important dimensions of geography.
