The knowledge of mathematics allow the geographers to study the surface of earth, its mass, analysis of population, analysis of earth, characteristics and identification of different patterns in the same geographical regions etc. Sometimes mathematics and geography are taught as single subject to the students of geography to learn the mathematical tools which facilitate learning important dimensions of geography.
