If both parents have blood type "O" ,  their children will have only the possibility of an "O" bloodtype. As far as the RH factor (the + or -), the children could be either one, so these parents' kids would be only O+ or O-.

The other person who responded with the answer of "just about any blood type" is completely incorrect.

I had a moment of mental lapse- sorry. I worked at a dr office and a hospital yrs and yrs ago, but guess I forgot the patients I dealt with! Sorry! My bad.

O is recessive and for both parents to be o type means that they are pure breeding for o, being both oo and oo, called homozygous recessive. These parents can ONLY have o type children= oo because neither parent has an A or B to pass on.

Your kids can end up with just about any blood type, bot O is the most common, as it may be passed down through other relatives.  My dad is O +  my mom is AB+  and I am B-.  So it can really be weird.  My husband was O- and both our kids turned out O-.  Just depends I guess!

Thats incorrect, if both parents are O then the only blood type offspring could have would also be O, other relatives are irrelevant, only the genes of the two parents matter. Only one of your parents had the O blood type, not two.

I apologize, I may have had my facts mixed up. I do know when it comes to medical science, anything can happen. I have worked in dr's offices and hospitals and I thought I remembered 2 O parents having a baby with another type, but it has been so long ago, i probably am having a ' senior moment!' Sorry!
